Mens' Personal Development Group
This group is open to both employed and unemployed men.
An increasing number of men are accessing counselling to talk about a variety of gender specific issues in connection with various aspects of life – work, relationships, life transition and so on. Ealing Abbey Counselling Service offers the opportunity for men to come together to discuss these issues with each other.
When does the group run?
The facilitator, Jacek Opienski, runs three groups a year. Each group runs for ten consecutive weeks and lasts for two hours from 7.30pm to 9.30pm on Monday evenings. These are outside of the main school holidays at Christmas, Easter and the month of August.
What is the commitment?
Men who are interested in coming should be prepared to commit themselves to the full sessions. Once the group starts it will become a closed group. The average number of participants is normally around eight although a maximum of twelve is possible.
How much will it cost?
We ask each waged member to pay a weekly contribution of £10.00 including any week that they miss. The group is free to unwaged / unemployed members.
